Share an Outlook Calendar

Expand or collapse content Outlook on the Web
  1. Open the Calendar (https://outlook.office.com/calendar/view/week)
  2. Find the Calendar you would like to share. (Or make a new one)
  3. Select the ellipsis (3 dots)
  4. Choose "Sharing and permissions"

  1. Enter the email address or name of a person
  2. Select the desired individual from the dropdown (unrecognized email addresses will not include the persons name)
  1. Provide the added person the desired permissions for the calendar
  2. Select the dropdown and choose the permission level
  3. Select 'Share' to complete the process and send the sharing invitation email
  4. Repeat steps 5-9 and to add additional people (to add or edit sharing and permissions a  later time start at step 3.

  1. Lauch the Outlook App on your computer
  2. The App will open to Email
  3. Open the calendar (the icons will be in the bottom left, and appear horizontal or vertical depending on whether the side menu is open or collapsed)

 

  1. Expand the side menu if it is collapsed
  2. Find the Calendar you would like to share. (Or make a new one) Outlook App Calendars are called Folders.
  3. Select the ellipsis (3 dots) next to the desired calendar
  4. Choose "Sharing and permissions"
  1. The Shared Calendar Properties window will open to the Permissions Tab.
  2. Select '+' to add a new person (not all email addresses will have calendar access)
  3. Enter the name or email address to provide access
  4. Select the desired level of access being shared
  5. Select 'Add'
  6. Sharing permissions can be added or edited at any time from the Shared Calendar Properties window
