The residence hall remains open during Thanksgiving and Spring Break. However, students planning to remain in the residence hall during this break must register their intent according to posted procedures. Students placed on disciplinary probation will not be allowed to stay in the hall during any break. 

The hall is closed during winter break once finals are finished. Students must follow all of the proper closing actions before leaving. A list of the proper closing actions will be given to the students prior to closing. The residence hall will also be closed during spring break. Again, students will receive notification of what needs to be done before they leave.

Before the end of the year move out, all student-owned property must be removed from the rooms and building. All students are required to vacate their rooms within 24 hours after their last final or by posted closing dates and times.

The hall will remain open in the summer. Students who are participating in the summer semester or are staying the entire summer will pay the semesterly housing rate. Students who need summer housing for a portion of summer break will be asked to sign a summer contract and be charged at the summer rate.
