Cleaning

While the common and public areas will be cleaned on by CIA cleaning staff, students are responsible for the cleaning of their suites. This includes the kitchenette, living room/work area, bedrooms, and bathrooms. 

Resident Assistants will perform routine “Health and Safety” checks to determine whether rooms meet the department’s cleaning standard or if rooms need further education in maintaining a clean suite. If there are issues discovered during these checks, residents will have the opportunity to correct issues before further action is taken. If the issues remain or are consistent, students who live in those suites may be referred to student conduct.
