Uptown and E117 provide students with opportunities to cook their own meals. Whether a full kitchen or kitchenette, students are responsible for making sure that their kitchen is clean and that appliances are being used in the correct manner. While CIA Student Life and Housing has allowed many small kitchen appliances, the use of electric cooking grills, hot plates, and any appliance with an open heating element are not permitted.
