The suite door to student rooms will lock automatically, so it is important for students to keep their student ID with them at all times.
If a resident is locked out, they may call the Pro-Staff on-call to be let in. Please note that a fee will be assessed for lockouts. If a student ID is lost, the resident may get their ID re-printed at the Tinkman-Veale Center on CWRU's campus. This will cost the student $25.00 to replace. Once the ID is reprinted, students must come to either the facilities or Student Life and Housing office to get the card activated for CIA doors.
In the event a student is unable to get an ID during office hours, the Pro-staff on call will provide the student with a temporary ID card until the office reopens. Students will have 24 hours to get a new ID before they must return the temporary card. If your student ID card is lost, a $25.00 fee will be charged.
Resident Assistants are not permitted to open a room for anyone other than its occupants under any circumstances.
