The residence halls are equipped with washers and dryers in dedicated laundry rooms. Any broken machines should be reported to an RA or the HD. It is recommended that clothes be removed promptly from the laundry area after drying to avoid possible theft or damage to clothing. If clothes are left unattended in a washer or dryer, they may be removed for the next resident to use the machine. 

• Make sure that your pockets are empty
• Please do not overfill the laundry machines. This impacts performance and leads to more repair issues.
• Once you are finished with the washer, please leave the door open. This decreases bad smells.
• Please empty the lint trap in the dryers. This will allow your clothes to dry faster.
• Please keep the laundry room door closed.
