The Institute reserves the right to inspect rooms in order to ensure students are following proper safety standards, to take inventory, and to plan for and make necessary repairs to rooms and furnishings.
There will be two health and safety checks performed per semester. Typically, these meetings occur toward the middle and end of the semester. Students will be notified by email of procedures to not only set up appointments with their Resident Assistants, but what the walkthrough of their suites will consist of. The form that will be used during the checks can be found on mycia under housing.
Students who do not pass the health and safety are given a week to remedy the issue or be referred to student conduct.
