The Writing + Learning Center (WLC) provides one-on-one support for students working on projects and practices across academic, creative, and professional contexts. The center is staffed by peer consultants trained to help you work towards your goals. Students use the center to brainstorm ideas, plan projects, revise writing, study for exams, rehearse presentations, read course texts, develop proposals for artist opportunities, and more. You can also work with the center on practices for time and task management, motivation, and reading, note-taking, or studying.

You can drop by, book a session, or schedule weekly sessions with a dedicated peer tutor. Most sessions last 30-45 minutes. The WLC space also includes sound-dampened study rooms available whenever the center is open. To learn more or book sessions, see cia.edu/wlc (myCIA login required).
