Expand or collapse content 1. Open the app and tap your shift.

Go to your Schedule and tap the shift you need to give up.

Expand or collapse content 2. Tap "Drop" (or "Drop Shift").

You'll find this button on the shift's details screen.

Expand or collapse content 3. Add a quick reason (optional).

A short note like "Can't make it, need coverage" helps.

Expand or collapse content 4. Leave everyone selected or pick specific people.

By default, it's offered to all eligible coworkers.

Expand or collapse content 5. Tap "Offer Shift" to send it.
Expand or collapse content 6. Tap "I Understand" if it asks you to confirm.

This is the app reminding you the shift is still yours until it's covered.

Your shift stays "pending" until someone accepts it and it's approved.

Expand or collapse content If Nobody Picks It Up
Expand or collapse content 1. Check your shift status.

If it's still showing "pending" as the shift gets closer, nobody has claimed it yet.

Expand or collapse content 2. Know your drop deadline.

There is a cutoff of 24 hours before a shift starts.

Expand or collapse content 3. Contact your supervisor directly

A text, email, or call gives them time to find coverage another way.

Expand or collapse content 4. Assume you're still working it.

Unless you've been told otherwise, you're expected to show up for that shift.

Expand or collapse content 5. Don't drop shifts last-minute when you can avoid it.

The earlier you drop it, the more time coworkers have to grab it.
